Drywood Termite

• Fumigation of the entire structure with Vikane® Gas.
• Pro - complete eradication of drywood termite, killing all detected and 
  undetected termites.
• Cons - homeowners, pets and plants must be vacated from the structure during fumigation.  All consumable items must be bagged with nylo-fume bag.
• Note - if the structure had not been fumigated for the past 6-10 years, this method may be the best way to eradicate all hidden colonies.
   
  
• Local treatment - Drill & injection.
• Pro - homeowners do not need to vacate the structure.  This treatment will be best when structure has minimal infestation or the property had been fumigated within less than 5 years.
• Cons - treatment is limited to detected and accessible infestations only.
• Note - full inspection is recommended if your are considering the local 
  treatment to find all possible infestation since this is a spot treatment.
   
  
• Local treatment - Foam chemical 
  
• Pro - this method can be used inside of wall, ceiling void, or any other infestations located at concealed area where fumigation is the only option, but cannot due to structure being connected to different
  ownership, or  home owner doesn't want fumigation.
• Cons - small holes in walls may needs to be repaired.

Subterranean Termite

• Rod & injection treatment.
  
• when the infestation is noted around soil/ground area, usually structures with crawl vent space at foundation.
   
  
• Monitoring & baiting system
  
• where property is located at high moisture area such as structure around the golf course or mountain hill areas where subterranean termite numbers are high.
   
  
• Foam treatment
  
• when the infestation is located at void area such as concrete void, wall
  void or any other hollow spaces.

Fungus

• Fungus treatment
• when fungus damaged wood members are replaced, this fungicide chemical will be applied to newly
  replaced wood and its surrounding/adjacent wood members, killing micro-sized active fungus pores to inhibit further fungus growth.
   
  
• Pre-treatment
• this treatment will protect wood from all of the wood destroying organisms up to 10 times longer than untreated wood.  Recommended on new patio frame, deck or pre-construction frame.  Pre-treatment must be applied prior to exterior finishing such as paint jobs.
